More Colleges Are Offering Masters Online That One Can Complete Anywhere!

Every year more college students are choosing to skip class in the lecture hall and log on to their computer instead. The Sloan Consortium conducted a study on online courses and found 73% of students want their colleges and universities to offer more classes online.

Most schools that offer online courses to undergraduate students also offer graduate programs. The Sloan Consortium finds 65% have graduate courses and 44% have masters programs. A student can get a masters in psychology, nursing, engineering or education online. These online programs often have the exact curriculum as the school’s on campus classes and award the same type of degree.

The days of night school being the only option for working professionals who wanted to attend graduate school are gone. Online graduate courses allow working students to keep their current schedule intact and attend class when it’s convenient. Actually, according to the Sloan Consortium study, more chief executive officers and educational institutions consider online learning just as effective or better than traditional face to face learning.
